PRIVACY POLICY

Last Updated & Effective: December 10, 2025 This Privacy Policy is a stand-alone document that is fully incorporated into the TeachSitter Terms of Service (available at https://www.teachsitter.com/terms-of-service). By creating an account or using the TeachSitter website, mobile app, or any related services (collectively, the “Platform”), you agree to this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service. TeachSitter operates solely as a neutral online marketplace connecting families with independent tutors, babysitters, and coaches. 2. Body-Worn Cameras & Recording Data (UPDATED & FULLY ALIGNED WITH TERMS OF SERVICE) TeachSitter never collects, receives, stores, views, or processes any audio, video, or metadata from body-worn cameras — whether the camera is loaned by TeachSitter or is personally owned.
  • Loaned cameras are provided strictly “AS-IS” and solely as a convenience. TeachSitter does not manufacture, endorse, warrant, or guarantee the quality, safety, legality, reliability, recording performance, or fitness for any purpose of any loaned camera.
  • Providers and parents are expressly permitted (and encouraged) to use their own recording devices instead of or in addition to any TeachSitter-loaned camera.
  • All recordings — regardless of which device is used — are created, owned, stored, secured, and deleted exclusively by the Provider or parent who activated or took possession of the device.
  • Responsibility for Wi-Fi/cellular connectivity, data plans, storage location, retention/deletion schedule, and full compliance with one-party or two-party recording consent laws rests 100% with the person using the camera.
  • If you voluntarily upload a recording or clip to TeachSitter to support a specific dispute, we will retain it only as long as necessary to resolve the dispute and will permanently delete it immediately afterward. Full details, including your irrevocable recording consent, loan terms, return policy, and TeachSitter’s complete release from liability, are in Terms of Service § 5.
